The View From Here

Just when I was beginning to get excited to work in the yard, this showed up yesterday…

“Light snow flurries” with less than an inch of accumulation were predicted.

These are pictures from about the first 1/2 hour of the “snow flurries”. When it was all said and done, we ended up with 5 inches of snow and the ski mountain that is 40 minutes from us, received 21 inches of new snow.Β

So what do you do when you’re ready for spring and it’s snowing?Β

You bring spring home from the local grocery store.

Happy Sunday!

  1. Is that jasmine, it must smell divine in your house and I just saw those shots of yours the other day of your garden waiting! Now you are under snow! Hopefully it melts away soon and warms up, we are warming up but it is Howling with wind out there.. c

    • I don’t mind the snow, at least it’s pretty. But, once the end of February rolls around, I start getting into spring mode. And yes, that is a jasmine. My living room smells wonderful! πŸ™‚

  2. That snow sure does look nice. Persoanlly, I’d rather it be around December 25th than February 25th but what can we do? If you’re area is at all like mine, the snow will be gone in a couple days, especially as mild as this Winter has been. Enjoyed seeing how you brought Spring into your home. πŸ™‚

    • Well, I don’t think winter is finished just yet…it’s snowing again. But that’s OK. I have a big pot of homemade chicken soup going and I’m going to make garlic and thyme flat bread here in a few minutes. Perfect food for this chilly and snowy weather. πŸ™‚
